After the Saints sought refuge in Illinois, the Twelve Apostles returned to Far West, Missouri. From here they embarked upon their mission to Great Britain. Upon Joseph’s release, the Saints settled in Nauvoo, Illinois. Here the Women’s Relief Society was organized.
