Lesson 30: The Prisoners Shall Go Free

Lesson Summary: The Lord revealed the Doctrine of Priesthood Ordinances for the Dead, including baptism for the dead. The first baptisms were performed in the Mississippi River. The Lord then commanded the Saints to build a temple in Nauvoo where baptisms were to be performed.
